Yeah, you know 12 miles no big deal. Finished 12.1 miles in 2:10. Foot hurt here and there, but I pushed through it. Knee hurt really bad the last mile, but again pushed through.
Best part is I ran in my back-up shoes, used glide on my feet, put my socks on in a special new way, and used glide on my socks and no blisters. Not even a hint of heat in my feet at all!
Now it's time to go to the chiro, get in to massage therapy and get the foot and knee back in shape. I have a few short runs the next few weeks, one race and then it's go time for the 1/2.
Hard to believe that not that long ago I posted on this very blog "I'll never be a runner."
Now time to get out the door and find out where Mark is taking me for the weekend!
