Pizza!

Mark is hunting this weekend and that means Sky and I get our, ok my, favorite thing...Papa Murphy's Pizza!!  I got the super jumbo size so it will last the whole weekend!  So happy! 

Herbed Chicken Mediterranean DeLITE

I totally earned it today too!  Michelle and I turned in a 26+ mile week, after two very low mileage vacation weeks.  My legs were so tired and sore today, in fact I had to cut the run short because I ran out of time to do it.  My pace was that slow!  Instead of 12 miles I got in just short of 11.  There were a ton of hills on the route, we knew it going in, but it didn't do our legs any favors.   

So ready for the taper to start now!  This last 1/2 is the hardest course yet, so fresh legs are a must!!! 

I earned this today too...

 

...white wine!  It wasn't cold yet, so I went the classy route and put ice in it.  If you drink it fast enough the ice doesn't water it down!  :)

I also felt like I earned these...

...cookies!  They taste great, but they were suppose to look like this...

...I have no idea why they didn't turn out like the picture, but don't really care.  They are yummy!  Plus, since there is banana in them they are an essential post run recovery food...right?! 

Sinless Cookie bites

*Ingredients*

2 ripe bananas
1 cup quick oats ...
chocolate chips (as many as you want, I used mini chocolate chips)
natural peanut butter

*Directions*
Mix mashed banana, oats, and chocolate chips add a heaping spoonful of natural peanut butter, mix well, plop spoonful's onto baking sheet, bake at 350 for 15 mins.

 

Sky is busy collecting signatures on her cast.  Daddy wanted to be the first and totally went with an old school tat design, it's pretty cute! 

 

 

She got to watch movies all day today!  She is still in pain and we just wanted to keep her calm, so back, to back, to back, to back movies it was.   

I'm a little stumped as to how to dress her.  Her shirt sleeves don't fit over the cast, but she can't go around topless tomorrow.  Hmmm.  I also can't figure out how to wash her hair without getting the cast wet.  I can use dry shampoo but not for 6 weeks straight. 

Anyone have any advice for me?
