Our Summer Fun Camping Trip #2

Our second camping trip was back to Lake Cushman with Bob and Michelle to break in our new trailer! This time the weather was sunny and hot, so we were able to spend a lot of time on the lake playing in the water and in the kayak's. We decided that we absolutely love our trailer after spending the weekend in it. Can't wait to our next camping trip in it!

Our new trailer! This is where Grace spent a lot of her time. She liked getting into the cooler for some reason.

Alie and Katie were the entertainment for the evening.

Grace found her spot on the ledge above our table in the trailer.

Our Summer Fun Camping Trip #1

We took our first tip with Bob and Michelle over 4th of July weekend. Bob's parents have property near Lake Cushman so we headed up there for the long weekend. It was cold and rained on and off, but we had a great time! We were even able to take the Jeep out and explore some of the less traveled roads. That lasted until we came to a washout that even the Jeep could not get through.

Our Summer Fun

We decided to start the blog towards the end of summer so I thought I would catch everyone up on what our summer has looked like. Our "big" trip this summer was to San Diego. Mark was going for the IBM conference and I tagged along for some relaxing time by the pool. We decided to fly in the weekend before the conference so that we could do some sightseeing together.

I fell in love with the Japanese Friendship garden in Balboa Park.

We spent a lot of time in "Historic Old Town". There was so much to see and so many restaurants to choose from that we could have spent every night in Old Town and not seen it all.

Welcome to our world!

I'm tired of looking at a blog with not posts on it. Mark and I decided to start a blog of our adventures and our sometimes less exciting day to day life. Thank you to Gina and Paul for the inspiration...they do a great job of sharing tidbits from their daily life. Yes I know this is short, but I/we will post more later.
